In this application, a customized F19P CompactPCI® PlusIO CPU board supervises the fluid levels during the bottling process and controls the production line machinery accordingly. The board is connected to two digital cameras via Ethernet that capture the necessary video feed. To avoid unnecessary costs, no mass storage is used - instead, the system boots via Ethernet. Celeron® M CPUs are used to control the entry-level systems while Core 2 Duo versions handle the high-end control units.
